A Clay Impression is where we press your child's print directly into soft clay, creating a detailed impression right into the pottery. With a Painted Print, we paint your child's print and stamp it onto an already-made piece of pottery. Both options are then hand painted by our custom artist to create a one of a kind piece of pottery with your child's print.

No. All our mold material is completely non-toxic, dye-free and water soluble.

Yes! Each family should order their kits and any pottery they would like. Include a note in the notes section of your order telling us which piece should include prints from outside your order. We will then be in touch to gather all the specific details.

We cannot ship internationally at this point. We can only ship in the 48 contiguous states.

We do our very best to package each piece to avoid damage in shipping, however, accidents do happen from time to time. If a piece arrives damaged, please take a photo of it and email us at support@printsandclay.com within 5 days with your order number and attach the photos. We will recreate the piece for you and ship it out as soon and possible.

Once you place your order, we process shipping your print kits within 3-4 business days. Shipping via UPS Ground typically takes 2-5 business days depending on location. The Print Kit process takes about 72 hours before it can be shipped back with our free return shipping label. This allows for the mold material to dry properly. Once we receive your print kits, our artists get to work creating your pieces, the painting process takes about 7-8 weeks.
