FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the finished pottery food-safe?
Finished Product

Yes! You are able to safely eat and drink out of your hand painted pottery!

What is the difference between a Clay Impression and a Painted Print?
Finished Product

A Clay Impression is where we press your child's print directly into soft clay, creating a detailed impression right into the pottery. With a Painted Print, we paint your child's print and stamp it onto an already-made piece of pottery. Both options are then hand painted by our custom artist to create a one of a kind piece of pottery with your child's print.

I'm nervous about the print kit. What if I make a mistake?
Print Kit

We have designed our print kits to be easy to complete, with almost no mess! Each kit includes written, photo, and video instructions to help ensure the perfect prints, along with tips and tricks to help you along the way. The best part, you can redo the prints until you are satisfied. Simply dampen your hands with water and shape the mold back into a ball. At this point, you can start from step one in getting the prints, or seal the ball back into its original packaging. We recommend using the resealed mold within 3-4 days. Reach out on social media or live chat for any assistance you may need.

Is the print kit material toxic?
Print Kit

No. All our mold material is completely non-toxic, dye-free and water soluble.
